Congressman David Dreier congratulated Senator-elect Scott Brown on his historic victory in Massachusetts tonight.  “Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts sends a strong message to the Democrats in Washington – the American people want us to focus on the economy and creating jobs.  Senator-elect Brown ran a positive campaign, highlighting a pro-growth agenda that would help put people back to work and help small businesses start growing again.  We know Scott Brown’s ideas will work because we’ve done it before.  When the economy was in trouble in the early ‘80s, we cut taxes and watched our economy grow.  I congratulate Scott Brown and look forward to working with him on a positive, job creating agenda in Washington.”
