Congressman Dreier recently voted to support a pay increase for active-duty military personnel and critical health care legislation for veterans.

Dreier voted last week for H.R. 5658, the National Defense Authorization Act, which mandates a pay increase for our troops.  He also supported three bills, H.R. 3819, H.R. 5826, and H.R. 5856, designed to strengthen the medical services we provide our nation’s veterans through reimbursement, compensation, and improved facilities.  “We can never fully repay our veterans and service members for their service, but we owe them a great deal.  There is wide bipartisan support for our troops, our veterans and their families and increasing the benefits we provide them.  Good health care is critical, as is a pay increase that will help military families.  These bills demonstrate a commitment to our military families that we will provide them with the resources and support they need.”
