Earth Day is a good reminder that we need to be good stewards of our most precious resource – the environment.  We can do that in a number of ways.  Starting at home – we can recycle, keep lights off when they’re not in use, and be careful not to waste water.  On a larger scale, our local, state, and federal governments must walk the line of protecting our environment while not limiting personal freedom and economic growth.  It is a challenge, but advances in technology are making it easier to achieve the right balance.  We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, and we are all proud of the Foothills.  Let’s all take a moment this Earth Day to think of ways we can keep our communities safe, clean, and environmentally healthy.
