Congressman Dreier joined community leaders today in support of the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension.  The extension has widespread support in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire.  Dreier has been a leading advocate of the Gold Line extension for many years and has helped secure over $27 million in funding for the project.  He said completion of the extension is a top priority.  “The Foothill extension is critical to the economic vitality of the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire.  It’s also crucial to curbing the traffic woes we all experience as residents of the Foothills.  I will continue to work in a bipartisan way to secure the necessary support to see this extension through.”
